Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use the ShiftingGuru app or website (the "Service"). The Service is provided by ShiftingGuru, a business owned and run by Rahul Goyal as a sole proprietor, at Shop No. 6, Bhardwaj Complex, near Pareena Laxmi Apartment, Sector 99A, Gurugram, Haryana 122505 ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. What ShiftingGuru does

ShiftingGuru is a marketplace. We connect people who need moving and logistics services ("customers") with independent businesses that provide them ("partners").

We do not move goods ourselves. The partner you choose carries out the job and is responsible for it.

2. Accounts

Customers register in the app with a mobile number confirmed by an SMS code. Partners apply on the website and can use the partner app only after our team approves them.

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

You must give true details. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the Service.

3. Requests and quotes

Asking for quotes is free and does not oblige you to book.

Quotes are set by partners. Each quote shows the full amount for the work it describes. Check what is included before choosing.

Choosing a quote confirms a booking with that partner. The other partners are told you chose someone else.

4. Payment

You pay the partner directly, on the terms agreed with them. ShiftingGuru does not collect payment for the move itself.

Partners pay a registration fee to join, as shown on the website when they apply.

5. Partners

Partners are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We check their application before approving them, but we do not guarantee their work.

Partners must only use customer contact details for the job they were given, and must not contact customers for anything else.

6. Reviews

After a move is marked complete, the customer may review the partner they chose. Reviews must be honest and about the actual job.

We check reviews before they are published and may decline any that are abusive, misleading or unrelated. Only your first name and the first letter of your surname are shown.

7. Cancellations and problems

If you need to cancel or change a booking, tell the partner as early as you can. They may charge for work already done.

If something goes wrong, raise it with the partner first. If it is not resolved, contact us and we will try to help.

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep the Service running and accurate, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage caused by a partner, or for indirect losses.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app or by email.

If ShiftingGuru becomes a registered company, that company will take over the Service and these terms, and we will tell you when it happens.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction.
